Turn a vertical table into a horizontal row?

I have data that looks like the table above. I need to put it all in one horizontal row so it looks like this:

Name amount ($) Different amount ($) Name amount($) different amount ($)...


I have tried the transpose option for pasting but that does not give me the right formatting. Any suggestions? I am a novice and still very new to excel so any help would be much appreciated.
