Good afternoon!

I'm trying to write a formula that counts the number of cells if AH has "WC" or is blank - and if AJ says "Expired" or is blank.

So i'm trying to count the following:

WC / Expired
WC / Blank

Blank / Expired
Blank / Blank

Make sense? PNG of example here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AihNCPDTynziggUDvkKB4WbEwJU-

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Hi,

If I understand correctly:

=SUM(COUNTIFS(AH1:AH7,"WC",AI1:AI7,{"","Expired"}),COUNTIFS(AH1:AH7,"",AI1:AI7,{"","Expired"}))

Change/adjust Cell References/Range to match your data.
