Am I able to put the results of a drop-down menu selection in A3 in the false result of an IF AND statement using an &. The location is highlighted in RED

=IF(OR(A3="D",A3="DT",A3="GE",A3="H",A3="K",A3="L",A3="LG",A3="M",A3="N",A3="NO",A3="Q",A3="R",A3="SR",A3="V",A3="VI",A3="X",A3="Y"),IF(AND(D15>0,D15<200),"CF < 200",""),
IF(OR(A3="B",A3="W"),IF(AND(D15>0,D15<286),"CF < 286",""),
IF(OR(A3="MD",A3="MN"),IF(AND(D15>0,D15<300),"CF < 300",""),"")))

Excel Facts

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
you can replace the red highlighted part along with the Quotes ("") with a cell address and it will return the value from that address

I need to keep the red highlighted part I would like it to look like - "result of A3 CF < 200" for the first if and so on

not sure i follow what you mean but the (&) ampersand will concatenate values into a string... so maybe you want to do...

Code:
"The Result of A3 is " & A3

Tried that and received this result
[TABLE="width: 103"]
<colgroup><col width="103" style="width: 77pt;"></colgroup><tbody>[TR]
[TD="class: xl70, width: 103, align: center"]& a3 CF < 200[/TD]
[/TR]
</tbody>[/TABLE]

I was looking for
[TABLE="width: 103"]
<colgroup><col width="103" style="width: 77pt;"></colgroup><tbody>[TR]
[TD="class: xl72, width: 103, align: center"]D CF < 200[/TD]
[/TR]
</tbody>[/TABLE]

So the part you have in Red should most likely now look like this:

Code:
a3&[COLOR=#333333]" [/COLOR][COLOR=#ff0000]CF < 200[/COLOR][COLOR=#333333]"[/COLOR]
