Hello,

I'm trying to create a pie chart to show how much of the 100% proportion is taken up by Mezzo/Tenor/Soprano, etc. from column Q. This is in a sheet called 'Main':

The data in the cells have been selected from a dropdown list on a separate sheet in a table called "Voice Type"

I've tried to click on this button to generate a 2D pie while column Q is highlighted:

This is what happens:

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
A Chart needs Labels and Numbers to work with and they need to be non-repeating labels ie summarised.
Below your column Q has been summarised using a Pivot Table and the chart is a Pivot Table Chart.
