Trying to count cells in between 2 values

For example I want to count the number of "Y" in between cells with "X" highlighted some examples below:

So basically I need to count "Y" only if there are cells with "X" before and after. Not sure if that is even possible in excel?

wait i think there was a typo {0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1,11} so 1 should be 10 right before 11.. Thanks man it works perfectly now
