Hi All
I have an Excel file containing a macro saved in a shared network drive folder. The folder’s security settings are set to read access for others and full control for myself and team.
I am trying to bypass the “Enable Content” security message when the file is opened by other users in order for the macro to run automatically.
I have tried using the “Trusted Locations” function to set the folder path where the file is saved as a Trusted Location which works for me as an individual user accessing the file, but not for anyone else who tries to open it. Similarly if I log on to a different PC, I am promoted with the “Enable Content” security warning.
The “Allow Trusted Locations on my network (not recommend)” setting is grayed out, presumably disabled by our administrators, however the box IS checked.
Is there any way around this? Driving me crazy searching for a solution to this one.
Thanks in advance!
Kat
