Hi I'm using Excel 2016 and trying to make what should be a simple chart.
I have a workbook with individual sheets to record individual progress through a variety of competencies. On each sheet is a total for how many competencies that individual has completed out of 219.
On a separate sheet I am trying to make a bar chart to compare all the individuals' progress. I want 0-219 as the range for the y axis and each person's name on the x axis.
The height of the columns should then come from the total competencies completed on their own worksheet. So when I change that number, the chart updates itself and there is no duplication of data.
So far the only way I have made that work is to put all the names in a list and make their next cell draw that number from the individual sheets, and then this forms the data set. I'm sure there must be a way to do this without duplicating or creating more lists especially with new people joining all the time.
Thanks for any advice or guidance.
