Hello – I’m new here and would consider myself an intermediate-level (barely) Excel user. Currently using Excel 2007 on Windows XP Pro.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Having trouble merging data from one workbook with three separate worksheets, into one worksheet on a separate workbook. Workbooks were not originally shared workbooks (which I know can cause problems). I need all data from all three worksheets merged into my original workbook (on one worksheet).

My original workbook keeps track of a website support page “hits”. This original workbook is where I want the other data merged into (on one worksheet). That worksheet looks like this:
A2 = Web Page Title
B2 = Web Page URL
C2 = Dec-07 Hits
D2 = Jan-08 Hits
E2 = Feb-08 Hits
F2 = Mar-08 Hits
G2 = Apr-08 Hits
H2 = May-08 Hits
I2 = Jun-08 hits
J2 = blank
K2 = blank
L2 = blank
M2 = Total Hits (=SUM(C2:L3))

The Other Data workbook contains the data I need to merge into the blank columns of my original workbook (columns J:L). So one worksheet from the Other Data workbook looks like:
A2 = Web Page Title
B2 = Web Page URL
C2 = Jul-08 Hits

Every time I try to run the Compare and Merge, I either over-write all the columns in the original workbook, or Excel freezes and my computer seizes up.

What am I missing? :eeek:
