Hey again guys,

I've got some really good help in another thread but there are unfortunately a few more questions I have regarding excel. I'm getting a little stressed because I've only 2 weeks to finish a school project and in times like this I just wish I picked up Excel and learned it thoroughly.

I'm trying to do conditional formatting for all the cells where excel start counting again and the day doesn't change.
The formula in V column as helped by 2 other members here is:

Excel Formula:
=IF(OR(B3<>B2;N(V2)+U3>235);U3;N(V2)+U3)

The data is supposed to represent approximately when en electric car with capacity of about 250km will have to charge during the day,
The formatting I'm trying to do looks like the one underneath where value 230,3 should be highlighted and then 205,2 and so on. But nothing happens when I press ok. W column contains the same if statement as conditional formatting. I appreciate your time

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
While not:
=V2>V3
I believe only the case that current value is larger than next value should be hightlighted.

Hi Adrianwor,

Your screenshot shows double quotes around the formula suggesting it's not being treated as a formula, so it won't return TRUE (which indicates the CF should be set). You have IF but without supplying the value_if_true or value_if_false

Try
Excel Formula:
=AND(V2<V3,D3=D2)
