I have a large table that contains a large number of records. I would like to reduce # of records as performance of database is affected. My initial paln was to export flat file (database sits on SQL server) so I have working backup and remove those records that are in that file. Than I had another idea- to copy current table rename it and than remove records up to specific date from th original table.
Is there maybe better way of doing this? Any suggestions appreciated

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
Hi,

The easiest way would be to run a delete query. Add a new query by clicking Insert, Query and choose Design View. Select the tables/fields as if you are building a normal query. Add any criteria that you want. Click Query, Delete Query to change the query type and run it. MAKE SURE YOU BACK UP YOUR DATA FIRST!
