Trend offset combo

Three columns that I want to calculate the trend for. Columns are always changing in height with a max of 100. Columns are a1:a100, b1:b100 and c1:c100. Looks like I need to use offset but I am not too familiar with that. What is the trend/offset formula? TIA

in D2 you can calculate the trend for A1 and A2 etc etc

test for A being zero and if it is put D = "end"

the number above "end" is latest trend
