Here I have a date column which is a date format in power query. There are no nulls or non date values. How do i filter this with the traditional date hierarchy or the option to select all dates after a date. It's random when excel deigns the data unworthy of special date handling.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
sort date column in PQ
filter date column in PQ as you wish

edit:
the best way is: post a link to the shared excel file with your whole example

I don’t understand. There is no column pq. I just mean in general when you have a date comping in power query or pivot tables it is arbitrary whether excel will let you treat it as a date that you can select and filter in a hierarchal manner or if they’re treated as a flat list of text you can’t even filter with a math function.
