I hope this is not too trite for the forum.
I have 16 numbers in a vertical list, which I want to convert to horizontal.
I am using Control+C, selecting an empty cell then using Paste Special, ticking Transpose, then OK.
instead of the expected horizontal list of numbers, all that appears is a list of 0s.
I do not understand why and so need help; please.

FWIW I am using a legacy version of Excel.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
Is it possible that the 16 numbers are the result of a formula and not hard coded?

I found a solution by selecting Values and Number Formats.
is that the best way?

Seems reasonable if it works for you and you get your expected results. The only alternative that I can conjure up is to use Power Query. If you are interested in that, please post back.
