Hello,

I am running excel 2016 in windows 10 OS, laptop.

Every month at work I receive 20 PDFs about the stock in 20 warehouses. Every warehouse has an ID number at the top of every PDF, for example A00 and the total value of the stock in the bottom. I want to create a macro which can identify, based on the warehouse ID, the sum of the stock and copy it in an excel file on the corresponding cell for the warehouse. I have seen a macro similar to this, but the software for reading the PDFs was SumatraPDF and not Adobe.

I know that the info above is a little abstract. I just want to know if anyone has faced a similar problem, or can suggest solution.

Many thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Welcome to the forum!

If you have Acrobat, not Adobe Reader, you "may" be able to do it using the Acrobat library reference object.
