Tracking who is making changes

I have am just started planning a new database which will be accessed by about 20 people or so. I need to be able to track who is makeing which changes so they can be held accounatable.

I though about requiring them to sign in during startup with username and password, but i rather the machine grab it from the PC login information. Even if i can figure out how to do that, How can i mark which person is making which changes?
