Hello!.
I´m sure that should be easy but I do not know the name of the function.
Normally with Vlookup, you can do something like this:

2024BoxesUnits
Apples318
Lemons101200

If you search Apples and the solution is in the 3rd column you will have "18"
But I want to have that result JUST asking the year. I mean if I do in the same way the answer of 2024 will be "Units". I want to have "18" as the answer.
Thanks

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

Your request is very unclear. What's the precise rule, based on which to be identified the necessary result? Instead of number 18, it could be any different one with other content in the row cells; or, the mentioned value could be placed in another cell from the same column. How dou you want to be found the expected result ?

Sorry vladimiratanasiu if my question was not clear enough.
I want to have the result based on certain position from the original one.
In this case, the year 2023 is in the A1 and I want to have the value of the cell that is located 2 positions vertically and 1 downward on the rows, it is C2.
Thanks in advacne
