I use Excel to track scores for a special golf award for our Sr League. One award is based upon the last four scores made independent of the date played. At present I have to do a lot of manual work to keep the running total updated as well as track four scores, gross & net, none of which may occur on the same date. Running totals only use net scores. The scores could be entered chronologically or anti-chronologically.
Example

Name - Date played/Running Total
May 1 May 8 May 15 May 22
A 95/75 (75) 99/79 (154) 91/71 (225) 89/69 (294)

B 110/70 (70) 105/65 (135) DNP 104/64 (199)

So, the last 4 scores would be the 4 right-most scores?

What if there aren't 4 scores?

Any way you post the file or a good representative sample file? I'm guessing that this is going to be more complicated due to the data layout. You can use a free file hosting site if need be.

Thanks for the prompt reply.
As I track scores now the latest scores are to the right but there is no reason they couldn't be posted on the left thus moving older scores to the right. I have to find a simpler way to sum the last four posted no matter the order.

What's the best way to post last year's final calculation?

I'm thinking that being able to see the actual file or a good representative sample file (same setup but with just enough data to demonstrate what you're trying to do) will help.

There's lots of free file hosting sites if you need to use one.
