Team,

Normally the Median price is calculated on a series of individual prices.
Instead, I have a list of prices and the number of times that price was used.

Per the image, of course there are many codes and product combinations.

Any good Math / Formula guru's who can help a broth

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Here is the data set:
VBA Code:
Col:A B C D E
Code Product Price Cnt Extended
Smith Apples 9.00 60 540.00
Smith Apples 9.26 40 370.40
Smith Apples 9.31 5 46.55
Smith Apples 9.38 20 187.60
Smith Apples 9.40 1 9.40
Smith Apples 9.41 15 141.15

What formula would calculate the Median (not average) price?

Respectfully,
John, In Annapolis, MD
