Is is possible for a query to have a YTD Total and a Monthly Total. If so, how would I input this function?
An example of what i require the query to preform is as follows:
the YTD Total - which adds up all the hours enter in
Month Total - which only adds up all the hours enter in that month.
Any Suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
You could try a Crosstab based on the data.
Start a new query, based on the dataset, and using the Crosstab Query Wizard.
In the Row section, put names or IDs for the people that you want to track.
Put Date in the Column field and group by Month
Put Hours in the Data area and use Sum.
The Totals column will effectively give you YTD.
