Hi,
Im trying to make a spreadsheet in which I can choose the date from a dropdown menu and fill in data for that date.
so far my sheet looks like this:
month is a dropdown choice at top of page, which automatically adjusts the columns down the "A" to populate with correct dates and days for that particular month.
along the 'B' row I have the variables I want to manually input for each day of the month running down the A column. these are tallies at the end of the day for things.
example.. number of buses is one column, number of cars is the next, motorcycles is the next and so on for each day.
Now here is the part im stuck with. .. when i choose the month from the dropdown menu at the top (and the corresponding days and dates change down the side as they should), the data for each vehicle type remains present...so say i had 10 cars on 5th Jan.. those same 10 cars appear in the next new month where ideally id like the data for each month to belong only to that particular month.
is there a way to link the data numbers for each vehicle to the month in the dropdown menu?
thankyou so much.. i can email the sheet if need be.
