what is the formula for ranking the top 5 supplier spend in each sales category? with the remainder rolled up and totalled, aslo showing the number of "other" suppliers. my data set is a list of purchase orders from all suppliers categorised into commodity groups.

You are probably looking for some combination of e.g. FILTER and LARGE. Could you please post a sample of your data so that the answer could be more specific?
