Top 10% Salaries

I am looking for a formula for the following:

List of names and salaries for the top 10% of a compinies top earners
List of names and salaries for the bottom 10% of a compinies top earners

With the very ' skinny ' description you gave of your data structure ... quite tough to come up with a proposal ...

Probably a helper column based on your Salary column would produce your expected result ...of companies top earners ...

I would have two Pivot Tables, one for each question.
Filter by the desired Top 10 (Bottom 10) which is more flexible than its name suggest.

For sure you have noticed Large() function deals with the ranking of amounts and not with the percentages ...

You could test

=A2>=Percentile(yourRange,0.9)
