Tooltips for drop down list options

I have a lot of drop down lists (using "data validation") and I'm wondering if there is anyway to have tooltips for each option in the drop down list?

Do you mean, you want something to "pop-up" when you hover the mouse over the DD cell? If so, try inserting a comment into the cell

When I hover over each option in the DD list I want a different tooltip to show for each option.
