Tooltip or comments in a cell

Hi guys, I need some help.
Column B and row 1 should be identical in names, I've used A to O for example, but if i have for example long names in column B, if add same name to row 1 my cells will get too big. I'm looking for any solution, i was thinking of clicking or moving to cell D2 will get a tool tip that its B (B3). This is actually a match, i prefer to not only show B, but lets say A against B as a tool tip or other solutions and apply easily like maybe drag and drop to every other excel except the diagonal line.

It has been approx. 16 hrs since since you posted your question. Easily understood questions are usually answered within a few hours of the initial posting.
Something is amiss here.

Observations : You reference different locations in your spreadsheet image. With the exception of D2, none of the other references seem to make sense or
are understandable. Overall your request is quite confusing. It is understood you understand the goal and your description but that is not the case for us.

You would benefit from rewording your request in another manner making your goal more understandable.

By "too big" I assume you mean "too wide"?
If so, what about just turning to vertical text in those row 1 headings then the cells don't need to get wide.
