TODAY fuction if today is monday

Hello All,

I am looking for a formula that would say if today equals Monday then subtract 2.

Thanks!

Subtract 2 from what? The date? Or a value in another cell?

How about

=IF(WEEKDAY(TODAY())=2,TODAY()-2,TODAY())

or

=IF(WEEKDAY(TODAY())=2,A1-2,A1)

It would be subtract two from the date. I want it to return Saturday's date but only when its monday

That's the first equation. If it's Monday, it returns Saturday's date. Any other day returns the current day.
