How do I get the YEAR (related to the workbook, not the date of printing) printed in the same Header/Footer as the Tab title, on all sheets, if that's possible, please?

The relevant year, ie 2019, will be inserted on one sheet (Summary, Cell B4), which I will route thru to all the other sheets in the workbook, ie Jan - Dec (to 'C3' on each sheet)

I can see how to get the Tab title into a Header/Footer but would very much appreciate some help re the year. Perhaps I need some VBA for this (in which case I hope someone can help with the VBA too, I'm afraid) ?

Many thanks for any help with this

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
If all the sheets are to have the same Header/Footer, then select all the sheets and edit the Header/Footers.
Otherwise, you may need VBA if you really need to avoid manual editing of each sheet's Header/Footer.

Thanks, SpillerBD

Good to now know how to affect Header/Footer for more than one sheet at a time ;) Thanks for the tip.

I have to admit to making an error in the above post whereby I don't actually want to be routing the year thru the sheets in spite of saying I would. I would prefer it only to be on printed sheets.

The 'Year' will be input (each year), on the Summary page (B3) but, when printing the sheets I need that year also printed on the worksheet, as well as the Tab title, hence wanting to know how to get the 'Year' in the Header from the cell in Summary page.

This worksheet will eventually be a template version, so the 'next year', ie 2020, will just be entered on the Summary sheet and then entries will continue for the year again, etc.

I hope this makes sense

Many thanks
