Hi guys...
If i have 200 applications to process daily and i have 12-15 people to process them daily, each application takes about 3 hours. How would I put this piece into an excel formula where I want 3 hours to be average to process each app or ok.. how many people would i need in order to process 200 applications given 9 hours how about that... i dont know if any of this makes sense to you but i just dont want each application to take more than 3 hours.. it should take less than 3 hours or less.

any more detail let me know.. thanks!

can i clarify - you have 9hours per day without breaks, and so you can process a maximum of of 3 applications @ 3hours per application
and you have 12-15 people - lets say 12 people

12 x 3 = 36
therefore 36 applications per day for 12 people

200 applications
= 200 / 36 = 5.5
so will take 5.5 days to process

if you want to do 200 a day
then 200 / 3 = then you need 67 people

you can just layout in a very simple spreadsheet - and show what you want ,
BUT
is this what you actually mean

in cell A2 you have 200
in cell B2 you have 3 hours
in cell C2 you have 9 hours
in cell D2 you have 12 or 15 for the people

then you can do the formulas

E2 applications per day
=c2/b2
F2 days to process applications
=A2 / E2
G2 Applications Hours needed per day
=A2 * B2

is that the sort of thing ?
