Hi you wonderful people!

I'm using the current formula =IFERROR(IF($AR3<=(BU$1-5),SUM(V3:Y3),""),"")

Filling in false values and errors with blanks so I can perform a countif >=0 in a later step.

However, I am trying to subtract one of the blank cells from a number and am getting a #value ! error. Any way around this?

Thank you in advance for your wonderful help.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
You'll have adjust the formula doing the subtraction to accomodate the "" result of that formula.
Maybe just use IFERROR on that one as well.

Or test if it's "" with an IF.

No idea what your formula looks like. (Hint!) But perhaps something like this:

1234 - N(X1)

where X1 is the cell that might contain text (the null string, presumably).
