Hi, I have imported an Excel sheet, 4 rows have it formatted as hh:mm, when they are in Access, all the times between midnight and miday show as h:mm, 4:45, after midday they show as hh:mm, 14:45

Can I force them to all show as hh:mm, that is 04:45, 14:45

Thanks cfer

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
You could try to add hh:mm into the the format of the time field in your table, but you may have already done that. One way you can "force" the results is to return the time in a query, and format it in the SQL view.

Select Format([yourtime],"HH:MM") as Yournewtime
from yourtable.yourtime
