Our company has 15 sick days a year of these days 3 can be used as personal. The following formula I have used to figure sick/personal days left for the year starting in February 2013.

B75=+Jan.2013!B75 totals sick days remianing for year-(AJ75 total sick days used for the month)-(AJ76 total personal days used for the month)/8.

This formula is working only until all 3 personal days are used then it starts subtracting by 8. For instance if I have 11 sick days left and 0 personal and I take 8 hours of sick leave again, the formulas will subtract 11-8=3 however I am looking for 11-8=10 (Note: 8 hours equal one day).

Thank you

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

Do you mean
B75=+Jan.2013!B75 totals sick days remianing for year-(AJ75 total sick days used for the month)/8-(AJ76 total personal days used for the month)/8.

If your usage is in hours it all needs be converted to days, but it is a puzzle to me why it only caused an error if personal days left were zero
