Hello everyone,

Using Excel 2010 - Is a formula possible to place in a cell and countdown time from another preset cell as would be used in a timed event - like NBL?

The process being:

Preset cell A4 at say 50:00 (mm:ss format)
Cell B4 (mm:ss format) to have a formula which counts down from 50:00 to 00:00 by seconds.
When B4 reaches 00:00, B4 stays at 00:00 and A4 resets to 00:00, until it is reset to say 50:00, when B4 starts over again and so on.

Whilst not out of the question, prefer non-VBA solution as I want to run on an iPad which does not support VBA.

Thanks

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
You won't get a non VBA solution.....if you google "Excel Countdown timer for Ipad"
There are many to choose from, so you will have to decide which one suits your needs best.
