I have a date field in my PT and I want to allow interactivity with the PT on this date field.

2 possible solutions both with issues

Solution 1
Use a Timeline

Issue - The dates in the field span any date in the next year but the timeline shows 2 years of months, i.e. Jan 2022 to Dec 2023 and I only want the dates in the date filed to be selectable on the timeline e.g. Oct 2022 to Sep 2023

Solution 2
Create another date field with the 1st of the month of the date field
Use a slicer on this new date field

Issue - Despite formatting the PT field as mmm yy, the items in the Slicer shows the items as dd/mm/yy and I can't find a way to format the slicer item labels

Is there a solution for either of the above issues?

TIA
