Timeline just stopped working

Hi All,

I have a pivot table that uses the excel timeline feature. I have the appropriate column formatted as date and it has been working perfectly up to this point. However, it has just suddenly stopped working and I get the error message that I have no columns in date format. The workbook does import extra data each day but I have checked this and everything appears to be in the correct data format.
What is even stranger is if I copy the data to a new workbook, I do not get this problem and am able to setup a timeline.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Many Thanks

Tom

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
Is that workbook reverting to "Manual Calculations" ?
Check the PivotTable Options, Data tab, "Number of items to retain per field" is set to none. IF an invalid value was captured, it will persist under other settings and break the timeline feature.
