Hi good people,

I get this TimeDate Stamp from a program: 636294990103218000. What I do know is that the Date and time really is "2017/05/04 12:50:10 PM". I am wondering if anyone could help me to convert the long number in excel so it would display the proper Date and time?.

any and all help will be greatly appreciated!. Thank you all.

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.
I fail to see any correlation between 636294990103218000 and 2017/05/04 12:50:10 PM.
Do you have any idea of what how they get from one to the other, or what any part of that TimeDate stamp represents?
You may need to look into the documentation of the program that it is coming from, or reach out to the vendor and request details.

Hi Joe4,

this is an SQl database program that somehow reflects the time and date like that. I understand what you are saying. Thanx for the input. Have a great day..

That is not the typical format SQL uses for DateTime fields, so I suspect it is a specific formula/conversion that was explicitly created for this purpose.
Who created this database? Who maintains it?
The owners or DBAs may be able to shed some light on this calculation for you.
