Hi everyone. I have created a database to track sick time etc. We've had a bad experience with losing the admin password to our previous database so we will no longer do workgroups or usergroups. Because of this...I run into a problem of people opening the database on their computer, and then leaving for lunch, so if there is a problem and I need to get into the database and to repair etc...I can't get in. I'm trying to create code to close the database after a certain amount of inactivity. I know how to do this in Excel, but Access has me stumped. Does anyone out there know how to set a timed event so that it will close automatically???

Sort of urgent...

Thanks,

Dave (y)

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
Perfect!!! Thank you very much, that is exactly what I was looking for!!!

Have a great day,

Dave :p
