Time to Number Convertion help.

Excel Facts

Can Excel fill bagel flavors?
You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Assuming your data is in A1, use this;

=CONCATENATE(LEFT(TEXT(A1,"hh:mm"),2)," Hours ",RIGHT(TEXT(A1,"hh:mm"),2)," Minutes")

with correction from post#2
maybe: =SUBSTITUTE(TEXT(A1,"hh:mm"),":",".")
if you want a number : =--SUBSTITUTE(TEXT(A1,"hh:mm"),":",".") and set two decimals
