Ok Generally speaking I have at least a clue if Excel can do what I want. in this case I have no idea!

I deal with a fleet of vehicles that I am trying to track their mileage and service needs. I have a formula that calculates the milage and how many miles it is until a service is due. Is there a way that I can create a formula that when that cell reaches a certain number a time stamp will automatically appear in another cell?

I use Zapier which is an automation program so what I want to happen is if the service needs to be done every 5,000 miles at 4,800 miles a time stamp will appear and Zapier will automatically email our service techs that the service is coming up and add that to our calendar.

In the target cell, something like?
If(thatCell >= someDateValue, Now, "")
Obviously I've used words instead of cell addresses because you didn't reveal where the involved cells are. Make sure the value you use for the date complies with the data type of your dates. Your cell dates could be strings, and that would introduce a problem, I think.

This is a job for a database, but then I admit to being biased.
