Hi Guys

im really new to excel and have spent a few days now trying to figure out how to get this timesheet working properly - so after spending 4 or 5 hours each day for 3 days after work i still havnt managed to complete this

i wanted to create a timesheet where i add a date and start and end times and use formulae to work out data i dont have to manually add

i managed to find some videos for formulae which can work out hours worked on a night shift using the +1 principle and some simple totalling formulae

however im having real difficulties with the following

- drop down date picker
-drop down time picker
- formula to detect whether day or night shift and detect whether overtime has been triggered then add overtime hours accordingly (please see excel document attached )
- formula to detect the monetary equivalent of a break, depending on night shift rate of pay/day shift/overtime etc
-formula to deduct expenses from total amount payable

if someone can help me get this done id really appreciate it - ive seen well versed people on excel on youtube and the time it takes them to complete what took me 3 days of research is like night and day

i did try using the mini sheet to post but for some reason excel is telling me that it cant open the xl2bb.xlam file in protected view - i followed the tutorial on how to instal the file which i did, but excel just wont run it

many thanks guys
