I'm working on a time sheet which is odd from normal schedules. I need to Subtract and add total time. Example
In B4 thru H4 is your Clock in time
In B5 thru H5 is your Clock out for lunch time
In B6 thru H6 is your Clock back in from lunch
In B7 thru H7 is your Clock out time
In B8 thru H8 is your Clock back in if you work another shift the same day (usually just a couple of hours)
In B9 thru H9 is your Clock out time
B10 is your Total Hours Worked
Thanks so much for any help!

Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
It would be super helpful to the forum if you helped the forum help you.
Please post an xl2bb copy of your data, or at minimum a table paste (not an image).
You're asking the forum to make assumptions about your data and you may get a great answer but is inaccurate for your data.
And although your example description is small the forum needs to recreate your question from scratch.

For instance:
Can shifts (reg. or add.) wrap over midnight?
Can lunch be skipped?
Why are you using columns B:H, it seems you just need a column B? If they are required how are columns C:H different from column B?
Can someone work add'l time without a reg. shift?
are there other scenarios I've missed?

I have no idea if these scenarios would affect the solution or not. But, clear listing of all of your scenarios would be beneficial to a timely and accurate solution to your question.

Thanks in advance.

@ RLPeloquin: Try starting with the following basic formula that gives you the daily Total Hours Worked:
Excel Formula:
=MOD(B5-B4,1)+MOD(B7-B6,1)+MOD(B9-B8,1)

Solution
Thanks for the formula it works great. Sorry I didn't include a snap shot. I just thought it was pretty basic and didn't need one.
Here it is and is now complete. Thanks again for the formula.
