The columns are for the total number of people rostered for a shift. What I want is if I select a time slot in it should give me the sum of people rostered.

Example: Slot (2 AM - 3 AM). This slot should have the sum of the first four shifts from the first column corresponding to Monday. So for Monday Slot (2 AM - 3 AM) total rostered should be (1+2+0+0=3).

I hope this is clear. I need a formula to do this. I have tried with IF function but that aint working. PLEASE HELP.

We aren't asking you to do that. All we are asking is to be sure to mention that have also posted the question elsewhere and provide a link to it.
That way others can see if the problem has already been solved over there, or don't recommend solutions that have already been recommended over there too.
