time out

I have been trying to search all day on the site and I continue to get knocked off, and have to re login....each time, I loose my place in my search. I wasn't aware that there was a time limit on a session especially when I am actively working on the site...if I was just sitting there not doing anything I could see it. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

May have figured this out after reading more of the how two's. Something about the cookies allowing the session to continue with out having to re-login...I'll give it a try and see what happens.

Hi Doug,

Make sure you're browsing the forum via:

http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/

And not an IP Address. The site's cookies won't work properly with that old address, e.g.,

http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/viewtopic.php?t=98029

You might want to clear out your cookies and try again, to be sure.
