Hi

Not sure what I doing wrong, I am trying to calculate time in several cell to give me a total, however I keep giving me the wrong figure and I can not work it out. See example images below. The total does not add up.

Example 1

Time is in hh:mm

Example 2

In this example I have change the cell D2 to a total time of 3:30 minuets and the total is wrong again.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Format the total cell as [h]:mm not hh:mm
