Time display as a number

Hi, I am trying to get this to display as 37 not as 00:37 which it is at present.

The formula and info in use is to do with time which is
C D E F G H
Start End Duration Slots Time Total
09:00 12:05 03:05 12 5 00:37

Start 09:00
End 12:05
Duration 03:05 =formula D5-C5
Slots per Hr Req =12 (devide 12 into 03:05 giving you 5 min per slot)
Time Slot Min = 5
Possible Slots = 00:37 (e5/g5)

Any help please

Hmm..

This works fine. Format the 5 to minute format or enter it as 00:05
and dividing 3:05 by that gives 37 with no formatting issues. but 3:05 divided by just 12 = 00:15 minutes, so I assumed you met divide 1 hour by 12 to get 12 5 minute intervals per hour.

Try this formula

=E5/G5*24*60

and format the cell as General.

Glad to be of little assistance. I didn;t realize C5/E5 was so much harder than Norie's solution. Guess that is why he gets 10 stars!

I imagine you could also use

=E5*F5*24

although what happens if your time period in E5 is not a multiple of 5 mins?
