Hi

In Excel, you can use the function ThisWorkbook.SaveAs

In an Access database, how would I do this?

Appreciate any guidance

Many thanks

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
What exactly is it that you are trying to Save?
Since most changes (data changes, adding Objects) in Access are automatically saved, you usually do not need to do that.

Hi, I think there is a backup feature in Access - In Access 2010 I have a Save As for the database under the File menu.

But basically you can also just copy the file itself - that's all that's necessary.
