I have a document with 250k or more rows. Each row is representing specific event. Screenshot of document is below:

Is it possible to develop formula which will do the following:

my input: text of field H (i would like to vary this one within the formula)
Output: dates, and number of occurrences.

Kind of output which I would like to achieve is (based on screenshot above):

As I have really large excel file I am wondering if there is a option to automatize this process.

If you need any further clarification of my issue, feel free to ask.

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
You highlight your data. Move to the insert tab then select pivot table. Drag date and restriction 1 into the row labels area then restriction 1 into the values area. Make sure it says Count of Restriction 1. Thats pretty much it. You can have a play around manipulating how you want it to appear but that way will give you what you asked for.
