Although I set the message iditor interface to the Standard Editor.

Pretty sure you can. The is vBulletin software, and if you go to Post Reply or Go Advanced you'll see the Manage Attachments button. You can see I've uploaded a text file attachment here. Just ensure you zip your file. If you are using Windows XP, just right click the file and select Send To, then choose Compressed Folder, then just attach that folder to your reply. Make sure the file is slimmed down so when it zips it will be under the size restriction (2.86 MB).

I notice when I try to view the attachment he loaded I don't has the rights and it tells me "You may not post attachments" under the posting rules.

Shame you can't have an area for people to load files temporarily.

Being able to upload/attach *anything* is news to me.

Yeah, I've been a bit out of things here for the past many months (darn work stuff). I double-checked, though. I believe that only the mods/admins can attach things which would explain why Zack was able to.
