I saved some numbers from a database in an excel file.
Numbers in cells are displayed correctly. But in the formula bar, they are seen as undefined characters. When I click on the cell, the number in the formula bar is shown as an arrow, otherwise it is shown as an unknown character.
I did all kinds of things that were recommended in the groups to fix it. But it was useless.
I need urgent help.

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Hello and wecome to forum, @mostafagordan!
Would be helpful if you provide a screenshot of the entire Excel screen or (it's probably even better) you can place a copy (unclassified data only) of your workbook on a file sharing site like dropbox and give a link to it.

Do you know how to use VBA ?
Using a copy of your workbook try
• Alt+F11
• If you can't see the immediate window Ctrl+G
• Then copy the below into the immediate window and hit enter
VBA Code:
ActiveSheet.UsedRange.Replace ChrW(65279), ""

Then let us know what happens ?

Solution
Yes, I know how to work with VBA.
Problem solved with your solution, thank you very much.

While I was waiting for the answer, I separated the number characters through the VBA code and was surprised when I saw a "?" character that it was in front of each number.

Please explain where the problem comes from?

The most likely is that it was somehow introduced as part of the transfer process from the database to excel.
You can get unusual characters in a database through an import or copying pasting data in but that would seem less likely for a numeric field.
