Say for example i have textbox value as date
with condition to conform with specific date format. I want the result to be a value of a formula when i hit a command button.

Say the result value is a date

I want to use that date as the cut off date of the entire tasks when i hit the command button.thanks for the response

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
If you are using formulas: Set the Linked Cell property of the textbox to a single cell then refer to the cell in your formulas.
If you are using VBA code: The value of TextBox1 on Sheet1 can be referenced by using: Sheet1.TextBox1.Value
