I'm having a bit of hard time trying to figure out a way to make text visible on a merged cell as I scroll horizontally. As it has been dragged along. I've seen it being done in html/css and it's very useful. For example, I have data for an specific Operating system and it goes a long way horizontally, to the point that you no longer see the text for the Operating System name or if it's 32-bit or 64-bit. See below template.

There are more OS tables like these together side by side. As of now, I've been using colors to help viewers determine the OS across the spreadsheet.

I am wondering if it would be possible for the text to continue being dragged alongside it's merged cell space. That way a person can see the OS name as the person scrolls horizontally through the long data, and perhaps can also now if it's 32-bit or 64-bit.

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.

Guessing that no one has figured this out yet?
