I have a large string of text:

01/10/13 / Free Estimate on repair vs replace on opener / son will be home to let you in, call Nick when you are on site to go over recommendation ~VNL**Chris / 15 year old craftsman 1/2 belt with stripped gear.Told him his options and he said he wanted to do the Gear because he would have to do both openers if he did one.told him 09/10/13: $489 ea with free keyless.Has bad rollers, rusty BB's and Cables.Let the guy know about them and he started asking about new doors.Said he liked the neighbors overlayed doors or the other neighbors carriage style doors.$189 / G&S $40 / SC$229 / CKwrote up formal quote: 7/15/13 entries are arched $1475/$2000 / 9x7 Classica 2000/3000, with windows, any stamp, 15'' radius, 5yr warranty$2025/$2375 / 16x7 Classica 2000/3000, with windows, any stamp. 15'' radius, 5 yr warranty$50 / aluminum hardware $25 / Steel hardware $400 / wood grain paintLeft / 80 Middle / 85 Right / 80 Width / 9'/16'Floor to Horizontal / 91 Floor to Backhanger / 85 Floor to Op Rail 18'' Back / 103 Floor to Op Stop bolt / 99 Floor to Ceiling at Drums / 113 Floor to Ceiling at Center Plate / 113 45 Degree Corners / Arch

is there anyway to run a "Text to Columns" style in VBA to get this to separate by date?

The DMY options in the Text to Columns does not do the trick.

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

Semicolon:=False, Comma:=False, Space:=False, Other:=True, OtherChar _
:=" ??/??/?? ", FieldInfo:=Array(Array(1, 1), Array(2, 1)), TrailingMinusNumbers:=True
End Sub
